I get a lot of questions about the gear that I used on my trip, so I thought I’d post a list of the stuff I used. I’m sure I’ll forget some items, but this is the most comprehensive list I can come up with.
Consumer Reports Disclaimer: This is gear that I use and believe in. I’ve received no compensation or sponsorship from any of the product manufacturers or suppliers. Though, I am not opposed to sponsorships in the future (hint), I will continue to mention only products that I use and believe in.

Food
Breakfast: Oatmeal with raisins, walnut and powdered milk.
Lunch and Snacks on the Water: Trail mix. I made my own with almonds, cashews; cranberries and dark chocolate M&Ms. This lasted the first 14 days. I used what I could find to replenish Port McNeil offered a good variety of GORP making supplies. Tofino offered much more pedestrian raisins, peanuts and chocolate chips. I kept a 16 oz Nalgene bottle in my underdeck bag and drank my GORP as needed.
Dinner – Knor Noodle or Rice sides with tuna, chicken or grated Parmesan cheese mixed in. My favorites were Noodles Parmesan, Alfredo, Thai Noodles and Stroganoff. Cajun Red Beans ands Rice got old. It needs more seasoning.
Off Water Snacks – Dried Fruit Unsweetened dried mango from the Pike Street Market in Seattle was my favorite.
I estimate my total calorie intake at over 4000 a day, and I lost 20lbs on the trip.
